Dawn Collins
Chief Executive Officer
Let’s be honest—Dawn Collins didn’t grow up dreaming about roofing. But helping people? Building something meaningful? Creating beautiful spaces that feel like home? That’s always been her jam.
After spending eight years leading a nonprofit (read: juggling a million things with heart, hustle, and high heels), Dawn took her passion for people and design and teamed up with her husband, Tony, to start Boxer Exteriors. The goal? Deliver exceptional exterior projects with honesty, heart, and zero shady contractor vibes. Tony, a born-and-raised Wheaton local, had been working in the exteriors for eight years. Dawn brought the strategy, design eye, and operations savvy—Tony brought the sales, the know-how, and the hands-on experience. Together, they built Boxer Exteriors with the belief that your home deserves more than just a new roof. It deserves care, respect, and craftsmanship you can actually count on. Dawn wears a lot of hats: leader, customer-whisperer, chaos-tamer. She’s big on communication, allergic to shortcuts, and fully committed to making sure every homeowner feels taken care of from start to finish. Around here, she’s not just shaping roofs—she’s shaping a company culture where people feel seen, heard, and proud of what they build together.
Originally from sunny Dallas, Texas (yes, she still says “y’all”), Dawn now calls Wheaton home. She and Tony are raising a beautifully blended family with five awesome kids and two wildly adorable Boxers, Winnie and Murphy—who not-so-coincidentally inspired the company’s name. When she’s off the clock, you’ll probably find Dawn power-walking through the neighborhood, rearranging the furniture again, sweating it out at a workout class, or getting lost in a good book. She’s a sucker for movies, game nights with friends, last-minute travel plans, and any excuse to decorate (or re-decorate) a space. She believes in good vibes, great coffee, working hard, and loving your people fiercely. And if you ever need someone to turn your roofing stress into a smooth, dare-we-say enjoyable experience—Dawn’s your girl.
Tony Berry
Chief Sales Officer
Born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois, Tony Berry began his career in the mortgage industry after attending Aurora University and Hope College. For years, he helped families navigate home financing—until the 2008 housing crash. Tony took it as a sign to pursue something new—something more hands-on and rooted in helping people protect their greatest investment: their homes.
That turning point led Tony into roofing, where he found a career that combined his love for helping and working with people. Since then, he’s built a strong reputation for his reliability, industry knowledge, and commitment to doing right by his customers.
Tony’s life centers around family, faith, and community. He spent years coaching his kids in wrestling, football, and baseball, creating memories and life lessons along the way. He spent many years coaching his kids in wrestling, football, and baseball—shaping young athletes and building lifelong relationships. It’s not uncommon to hear “Hey Coach!” around town, a testament to the hundreds of kids he’s mentored over the years.
At home, he’s devoted to his beloved dogs, Winnie and Murphy, who are treated like royalty.In his free time, Tony enjoys being with friends and family, listening to music, and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers and the Chicago Cubs. Grounded, loyal, and driven by heart, Tony brings a personal touch to everything he does—on and off the job.
Peyton Berry
Claims Specialist
Peyton works as a claims specialist at Boxer Exteriors. He’s been in the roofing/exteriors industry for nearly 7 years and with this team for 2 years. He specializes in roofing inspections, storm restoration, siding installs, project coordination, and creating a great customer experience. Peyton takes pride in helping people. Whether that means solving a problem for a homeowner, making the process stress-free, or finding the best solution for each project. A standout moment for Peyton has always been enlightening our clients on the best options in ways we can help them. He prides himself on being 100% transparent and honest with each and every person I meet.
When Peyton’s not working, you can usually find him spending time with his dog, doing some sort of activity outside with friends, being active at church, playing guitar, or fishing. He believes in doing things right the first time, treating people like family, clear communication, and working with integrity. He looks forward to seeing you out there!
Preston Berry
Project Manager
As Project Manager at Boxer Exteriors, Preston oversees crew production and scheduling to ensure every exterior renovation project runs smoothly from start to finish. With a background in maintenance and a passion for fixing things, he brings hands-on expertise, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. His focus on clear communication and customer service helps deliver reliable results homeowners can count on.
Outside of work, Preston enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, relaxing, and binge-watching his favorite shows on Sundays. Whether he’s managing a job site or tackling a weekend project, he takes pride in getting the job done right.
Debbie Busch
Operations
I’m grateful to be part of the small but mighty team at Boxer Exteriors, where we believe in bringing vision and purpose into everything we do. For me, operations isn’t just about structure—it’s about creating flow, alignment, and ease so that leaders and team members can share their gifts with the world in the most impactful way. Whether I’m shaping repeatable systems, streamlining processes, or guiding a team through meaningful change, I approach each step with intention. I see operations as a way of holding space—offering clarity, consistency, and momentum—so others can focus on the work that lights them up and fulfills their highest purpose. What brings me the greatest joy is serving as a trusted partner, helping ideas move from vision to reality, and witnessing the ripple effect it creates when people are empowered to thrive.
When I’m not working, I’m focused on reconnecting with the simple rhythms of life—breathing in the stillness and connecting to the energy of nature, immersing myself in the wisdom of a good book or podcast, or creating something nourishing in the kitchen. I love supporting small and local businesses, knowing every exchange is a way to strengthen community and honor someone’s craft. And when farmers market season arrives, you’ll almost always find me there—coffee in hand, wandering with gratitude, and delighting in the abundance grown with care by local farmers.
