Are your crews licensed and insured?

Do you have nearby referrals we can reference?
Absolutely. We have completed many projects in the local area and can provide nearby references and recent projects so you can see our work and hear directly from other homeowners about their experience.
When can I expect someone to contact me?
When you reach out, someone from the Boxer Exteriors team will usually respond right away. If we’re assisting another homeowner, you’ll hear back from us within 12 hours or less. We value every customer and make communication a top priority.
Do you offer FREE inspections?
Absolutely! Contact us by phone, text, or online, and our team will schedule a free, no-obligation inspection that fits your availability.
How soon can you get to my home for an inspection after we contact you?
In most cases, we can be out to inspect your roof within 24 hours of your initial call (depending on your schedule, of course). After your inspection, we’ll provide a detailed estimate and walk you through your options.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency repairs?
Yes, we do! If you’re dealing with a roofing or exterior emergency, call us anytime — day or night — and we’ll help get things under control as quickly as possible.
Do you offer insurance claim assistance?
Yes — and we’re very experienced with it. If you believe your roof or exterior has storm damage, we’ll start with a free inspection to assess the situation and document everything for your insurance company.
From there:
- We’ll walk you through how to file the claim with your insurance provider.
- We’ll coordinate with your adjuster to ensure all damage is properly identified and documented.
- Once your claim is approved, we’ll review the scope of work together and move forward with your project.
- After completion, you’ll receive a certificate of completion and your final warranty documentation once payment is finalized.
We make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
Is it illegal for you to pay my insurance deductible?
Correct — by law, homeowners are required to pay their own deductible. Boxer Exteriors operates with integrity and in full compliance with state insurance regulations.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with trusted financial partners to provide flexible financing options — including monthly payments and competitive interest rates — so you can get the work done without financial stress.
Will applying for financing delay my project?
Generally, no. Our financing partners can often provide personalized payment plans and funding within 1–3 days, so your project can move forward quickly.
What manufacturers do you partner with?
We work with some of the most trusted and proven manufacturers in the industry, including Owens Corning, GAF, Hardie, CertainTeed — ensuring top-quality materials and long-term performance.
What materials do you recommend and why?
We typically recommend high-quality architectural shingles from trusted manufacturers because they offer:
- Excellent durability
- Strong manufacturer warranties
- Improved wind resistance
- Attractive curb appeal
We will walk you through material options and help you choose the best solution for your home and budget.
How long should we expect this shingle to last?
The lifespan of a shingle depends on the product and proper installation. Most architectural shingles today are designed to last 25–30+ years, assuming proper ventilation and maintenance. We will recommend products that offer strong durability and manufacturer warranties.
Where do you install ice and water shield?
Ice and water shield is installed in the most vulnerable areas of the roof, including:
- Along the eaves
- In valleys
- Around chimneys and roof penetrations
- Near skylights and walls
This waterproof barrier helps prevent leaks caused by ice dams and wind-driven rain. We always install two rows along the eaves.
Is my ventilation current on my home? Should I change it or add additional vents?
Proper ventilation is critical for roof performance and longevity. Every roof is different so we will ask a series of questions to address your current issues (we have trouble cooling our second floor in the summer, we have mold on our roof deck, etc.) During our inspection we evaluate your attic ventilation and may recommend improvements such as:
- Adding ridge vents
- Installing intake vents (soffit vents)
- Upgrading existing ventilation systems
You must have balanced ventilation to regulate attic temperature and moisture, which protects both your roof and your home.
How will you handle the permit?
If a permit is required for your project, we handle the permitting process for you. This includes submitting paperwork, coordinating with the municipality, and ensuring your project complies with local building codes.
Will you do a complete tear-off of the shingles?
Yes. In most cases we perform a complete tear-off of the existing roofing system. This allows us to inspect the decking underneath and ensures the new roof is installed on a solid foundation.
What happens if bad weather prevents installation on the scheduled day?
If weather conditions are unsafe or could impact the quality of the installation, we will reschedule the project for the next available clear day. Your project manager will communicate with you promptly and keep you updated.
How long does a typical project take?
From the first phone call to the final walk-through, most projects are completed within a few weeks, sometimes faster depending on the size and scope of the work. We pride ourselves on efficiency and keeping you informed every step of the way.
How long should we expect the installation to take?
Most roofing projects are completed within 1–2 days, depending on the size and complexity of the home. Larger homes, steep roofs, or weather delays may extend the timeline slightly. Our goal is always to complete your project efficiently while maintaining the highest quality workmanship.
Who should I contact on the day of the build with any questions?
You will have a dedicated project manager overseeing your installation. They will be your primary point of contact throughout the project and will be available to answer any questions on the day of the installation.
What steps do you take to protect my property?
Protecting your property is a top priority. Our team takes several precautions including:
- Covering landscaping and sensitive areas around the home
- Using tarps to catch debris
- Carefully placing ladders and equipment to avoid damage
- Performing a thorough cleanup after installation
- Using magnetic rollers to collect stray nails from the yard and driveway
What warranties do you offer?
Boxer Exteriors provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on full roof replacements, and we’ll handle the registration of all manufacturer warranties for you.
We partner with leading manufacturers to ensure you get the strongest warranties available — giving you peace of mind that your investment is protected for years to come.
What do your warranties and manufacturer warranties look like?
Your roof will typically include two types of warranties:
- Manufacturer Warranty – Covers defects in the roofing materials.
- Workmanship Warranty – Covers the quality of our installation.
We review warranty options with you before installation and provide all documentation once the project is complete.

The team worked efficiently, stayed responsive to phone calls, and were always professional, friendly, and positive. They came highly recommended and truly delivered. We continue to refer them to our friends and neighbors as well.
